Cost: $35 to be paid in advance
Nonfiction books often require research to ensure sources are credible and content is accurate. But writers sometimes enter the process without the research skills necessary to create a publishable book. Here is an ideal opportunity to get your advice near the front-end of your project, as you develop your idea and research plan.
Join Susan E. Lindsey, in this three hour workshop, to learn how to locate sources, conduct research, incorporate information into your manuscript, cite your sources, and ensure you’re complying with copyright law. Bring a laptop or writing materials.
Susan is a writer, professional manuscript editor, owner of Savvy Communications. She has published a number of essays and short stories, is editor and coauthor of Speed Family Heritage Recipes (2016), and author of the forthcoming historical nonfiction book Under the Vine and Fig Tree: Slavery, Freedom, and Ties that Bind.
Cost is $35 for this 3-hour session. To enroll, contact Kimberly at firstname.lastname@example.org
